What started as a simple wish during a family trip to Paris became the beginning of something I never expected.

While exploring Paris, our daughter fell in love with a Louis Carmen journal. Inspired by her excitement, I found myself thinking, I could make that. I wanted to create something beautiful and personal for her, something made by hand that she could treasure for years to come.

In November 2025, I took the leap. I ordered Italian vegetable-tanned leather, leatherworking tools, and notebooks, determined to bring her vision to life. After plenty of learning, patience, and stitching, I made her journal.

Then came the holiday season, what began as one special gift turned into more than 25 handmade journals for family, friends, and teachers. Each one was cut and finished by hand. What I initially set out to make for my daughter had grown into a passion for creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind leather goods.

From Journals to Handbags

As my skills and creativity grew, so did my vision.

My next inspiration came from someone very close to my heart: my mom. A true handbag lover, she appreciates the beauty of luxury handbags and the way the right bag can complement an outfit, express a mood, or simply make you feel put together. She loves changing her handbag to match her style and her day.

I wanted to create something just for her. Not something mass-produced or easily found, but something unique that reflected her personality.

The result was a one-of-a-kind leather handbag featuring horse brass as a distinctive focal point on the closure. It was a new creative challenge and the beginning of my love for designing and making handbags, especially leather totes and thoughtfully designed accessories.

Today, my work brings together the things I value most: quality materials, thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and individuality.

From customizable leather journals to handbags, leather totes, and accessories, every piece begins with carefully selected materials and is brought to life through hand cutting, stitching, and attention to detail.

I am especially drawn to the character of Italian vegetable-tanned leather. Its natural beauty, rich texture, and ability to develop a beautiful patina over time make every piece unique. No two pieces of leather are exactly alike, and I love that each creation carries its own character.

I believe the things we carry and the things we treasure should feel personal. They should tell a story, reflect who we are, and become more beautiful with time.
